Hyperlinks

Matcha supports OSC 8 hyperlinks for clickable links in the terminal.

Supported Terminals:

  • Kitty, Ghostty, WezTerm, Alacritty, Foot
  • iTerm2, Hyper, Warp
  • VS Code integrated terminal
  • GNOME Terminal, Tilix (VTE-based terminals)
  • tmux, screen (when properly configured)

Behavior:

  • Smart Detection: Automatically detects terminal capabilities.
  • Fallback Mode: Shows plain text URLs in unsupported terminals.
